Twitch launches online store on Amazon

SAN FRANCISCO — Social video service Twitch has launched its first online offering of authentic own brand merchandise available through Amazon.

Twitch’s initial product offering ranges from Twitch logo shirts in the brand’s signature purple to plush pillows and drinkware. The product assortment will be updated periodically with items such as the Joystick tee. Items are discoverable through Twitch and Amazon and purchased on Amazon at Amazon.com/TwitchMerch.

“Our community is devoted to Twitch and has been vocal about wanting to show off its love for the brand,” said Jennifer Dabnor, director of private label, licensing, Twitch. “Giving our community access to items like our coveted purple Twitch shirts and expanding into women’s fits and kids options allows us to embrace the broader Twitch community. We also want to make it easy for our fans to show off their Twitch pride, which is why we are providing them with a 24/7 digital store powered by Amazon.”

Twitch also plans to produce unique and special items for select events, including the upcoming TwitchCon 2017. At the convention, the company will feature Twitch branded longboards in collaboration with skating brand LandYachtz, as well as adult onesies.
